P.I.T.S League

Nightly Recap: June 5th

Game 1

Team Crazywear vs Rampage

The first game of the evening started out very competitive, then Team Crazywear went on a run. “Basketball is a game of runs” that is something that everyone has heard before, but there are some runs that don’t seem to end. That is the type of run that Crazywear went on, they were lead by an extremely balanced attack featuring Mike, Terrance, and J. Brown. Brown led the way with 21 points, while Mike & Terrance had 15 and 16 points respectively. Crazywear is now 2-0 on the season, something tells me they might in the picture towards the end of the season.

Podium Game: Terrance Carter & Mike Lewis

Game 2

J.T. All Star vs Team P.I.T.S

This was a great matchup, J.T. All Stars coming fresh off  their first victory were confident heading into this matchup. Team P.I.T.S started this game off slow, much of that due to the intensity and tempo set by J.T. All Stars. As Team P.I.T.S settled down, it was easy for everyone in the building to see that this game was set up for a dramatic ending. Team P.I.T.S thought they won the game on a late 3 by Corey Almond, only to have Kwame tie it up to force it into Overtime. The game continued to go back and forth, but in the second OT Kwame steadied his team and knocked down free throw after free throw to ice the game for his team. J.T. All Stars gets their 2nd win of the season by beating Team P.I.T.S 95-90.

Podium Game: Kwame Morgan
