Post Game with Kevin Dorsey

It was a pleasure attending the Team Takeover event last weekend, we had the chance to catch up with Kevin Dorsey from Paul the Sixth (PVI). Dorsey was the MVP of the game against Montrose Christian and spoke with us after the game. Dorsey is a member of the class of 2015 and is getting highly recruited. Many people consider him one of the best guards in the area(DMV). Dorsey can attack the basket, shoot, and doesn’t shy from contact. Below is the conversation after the Montrose-PVI game.

Thoughts on the game

“Big win, big second half. Everyone played as a team and we stayed together”

On PVI’s press

“Just pressure all the time: press, press, press. That was a big thing, they couldn’t handle the pressure.”   How being patient on offense helped them in second half  “We work though it all the time at practice so that really definitely helped us today.”

What coach told them

“Just find shooters, get out on them, play hard defense and rebound.”

On the season so far

“Its actually going really good, everything’s going great. Practice is going really well, everyone is staying together and not letting any outside distractions deter us.”
