ACC Week 6 Review

Week 6 of the college football season was one for the books. For the first time in history, five of the top eight ranked teams in the country suffered a loss in the same week, with most of the wins and losses being decided within the SEC, specifically the SEC west. The polls look slightly different this week than they did last week, to say the least.

While most of the great action came from the SEC, as that conference was featured heavily on Saturday with several nationally televised games, the ACC still competed, albeit none of those games had the national impact that the ones from the SEC did. One of those teams to compete was the top ranked team in the country, Florida State, and after another dominating victory, they are still the top ranked team in the country.

Here are the scores from across the conference for week 6 in the ACC:

Virginia defeated Pittsburgh 24-19

Georgia Tech defeated Miami 28-17

#1 Florida State defeated Wake Forest 43-3

Clemson defeated NC State 41-0

Virginia Tech defeated North Carolina 34-17

Louisville defeated Syracuse 28-6
