Early look at the 2015 Schedule, Washington Redskins
Tonight was the official unveiling of the 2015 NFL Schedule, so it’s only right we take a couple of minutes and look over Washington’s schedule for the upcoming season. Obviously it won’t be in depth, but we’ll point out a couple of points about each game of the regular season. Think of it as a nice break from all the NFL draft talk!
Week 1: Dolphins
- Big test for the offensive line as they’ll be facing Suh, Wake, and company
- Early test for the secondary against Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry and Jordan Cameron
Week 2: Rams
- Nick Foles returns to the NFC East for a day
- Arguably the best defensive line in football
Week 3: @Giants
- Odell Beckham Jr vs the new look secondary
- First division game of the year, always important
Week 4: Eagles
- Division game
- New look Eagles, Bradford, Murray, etc
- Philly offense against revamped WAS defense
Week 5: @Falcons
- Secondary against Ryan, Julio, and Roddy
- First look at ATL defense under Dan Quinn
Week 6: @Jets
- Offense faces huge test in NY’s defense
- Jackson and other skill players must get open vs Revis, Cromartie and company
- Jets offense w/Brandon Marshall
Week 7: Buccaneers
- New look team in Tampa Bay
- Could be Robert Griffin III facing another Heisman Trophy winner (Winston, Marriota)
- Dashon Goldson gets to play against former team
Week 8: Bye Week
Week 9: @Patriots
- Visit the defending champs
- Defense gets to go against Brady and company
Week 10: Saints
- New look Saints, duo of Ingram/Spiller in the backfield
Week 11: @Panthers
- WAS offense takes on CAR top five defense
- How offensive line does, as CAR no longer has Hardy
- Cam Newton and company vs the WAS defense
Week 12: Giants
- NY comes back to town
- Division game in the second half of the season
Week 13: Cowboys
- Look at DAL offense without DeMarco Murray
- Tony Romo and company against WAS new look defense
- Dez, Witten vs WAS secondary
Week 14: @Bears
- Stephen Paea takes on former team
- Vic Fangio chose CHI over WAS, his defense against the Redskins offense
- Bears offense after Brandon Marshall
Week 15: Buffalo
- LeSean McCoy, Percy Harvin, Sammy Watkins all on one field….defense might have their hands full
- WAS offense against a Rex Ryan led Bills team that had a decent defense last year
Week 16: @Eagles
- Division game with huge playoff implications for one or both teams
- Teams should be more familiar with each other with the additions to both teams (draft, free agency)
Week 17: @Cowboys
- Could be the deciding game to get into the playoffs for either team
- Rivalry game, division game, what more can you ask for?
