Early look at the 2015 Schedule, Washington Redskins

Tonight was the official unveiling of the 2015 NFL Schedule, so it’s only right we take a couple of minutes and look over Washington’s schedule for the upcoming season. Obviously it won’t be in depth, but we’ll point out a couple of points about each game of the regular season. Think of it as a nice break from all the NFL draft talk!

Week 1: Dolphins

  • Big test for the offensive line as they’ll be facing Suh, Wake, and company
  • Early test for the secondary against Kenny Stills, Jarvis Landry and Jordan Cameron

Week 2: Rams

  • Nick Foles returns to the NFC East for a day
  • Arguably the best defensive line in football

Week 3: @Giants

  • Odell Beckham Jr vs the new look secondary
  • First division game of the year, always important

Week 4: Eagles

  • Division game
  • New look Eagles, Bradford, Murray, etc

  • Dashon Goldson gets to play against former team

Week 8: Bye Week

Week 9: @Patriots

  • Visit the defending champs
  • Defense gets to go against Brady and company

Week 10: Saints

  • New look Saints, duo of Ingram/Spiller in the backfield

Week 11: @Panthers

  • Vic Fangio chose CHI over WAS, his defense against the Redskins offense
  • Bears offense after Brandon Marshall

Week 15: Buffalo

  • LeSean McCoy, Percy Harvin, Sammy Watkins all on one field….defense might have their hands full
  • WAS offense against a Rex Ryan led Bills team that had a decent defense last year

Week 16: @Eagles

  • Division game with huge playoff implications for one or both teams
  • Teams should be more familiar with each other with the additions to both teams (draft, free agency)

Week 17: @Cowboys

  • Could be the deciding game to get into the playoffs for either team
  • Rivalry game, division game, what more can you ask for?
