Projecting the final 53 in Baltimore

As we approach the final Preseason game of the 2015 season, the cuts are coming. NFL teams are required to cut down from a maximum of 90 players down to 75 before this weekend’s game, and then from 75 to 53 before the regular season begins. Baltimore has already started these cuts, but I’m going to skip the cuts to 75 and go straight to the opening day roster of 53.

QB: Joe Flacco, Matt Schaub

RB: Justin Forsett, Lorenzo Taliaferro, Javorius Allen

FB: Kyle Jusczyk

WR: Steve Smith Sr, Breshad Perriman, Marlon Brown, Michael Campanaro, Kamar Aiken, Jeremy Butler

TE: Dennis Pitta (PUP List), Crockett Gilmore, Maxx Williams, Nick Boyle

OT: Eugene Monroe, Rick Wagner, James Hurst, Jah Reid

OG: Kelechi Osemele, Marshall Yanda, John Urschel, Robert Myers

C: Jeremy Zuttah, Ryan Jensen

DE/OLB: Terrell Suggs, Elvis Dumervil, Courtney Upshaw, Za’Darius Smith

DL: Chris Canty, Timmy Jernigan, Brandon Williams, Carl Davis, DeAngelo Tyson, Lawrence Guy

LB: C.J. Mosely, Daryl Smith, Arthur Brown, Zach Orr

CB: Lardarius Webb, Jimmy Smith, Kyle Arrington, Rashaan Melvin, Asa Jackson, Quinton Pointer

S: Will Hill, Kendrick Lewis, Nick Perry, Anthony Levine, Terrence Brooks

ST: Justin Tucker, Sam Koch, Morgan Cox

Baltimore is a favorite in the AFC this season, and this is my prediction for their final roster. There are technically 54 players on this roster, as Dennis Pitta will be activated after Week 6, and someone will lose their roster spot, likely to the practice squad.
