Chris Howard hits a huge shot with 52 seconds left, spins off a defender and hits a layup despite the contact the three point play cuts the lead to one, but Game Changers would continue to score in transition. They rallied and then held a lead in a close one, 79-72. Melo and Benny led the way for Game Changers scoring 25 and 24 points respectively. Cliff had a cool 30 for Core and Howard finished with 22. This is another huge win for an overlooked team, recently took down Saints of the Bottle. Their two wins came against two of the more talented teams in the league.
Core jumped out to a quick lead, but they couldn’t sustain it as Game Changers used good defense and transition offense to get back into the game and tie it with 2 minutes left in the half. Taking the lead at one point, but Cliff would score and they’d trade baskets. Cory doing a great job leading his team back into it, setting the table for his teammates, a true floor general. Howard came out very aggressive to start the second half, scoring on a nifty drive with a nice floater and burying a triple. The bad part was Cliff showed no signs of slowing down. Kharan threw a lob to Cliff, but it was a bit too high, but Cliff was still able to climb the ladder and get his finger tips on the ball to guide the ball into the basket. Cliff has help now as Howard starting to look like the guy back at USF, a true handful at point guard. Vernon getting in on the act and Core pushes the lead to 10.

Benny hits a triple in transition to push to seven, Kharan matches with a three of his own and Core is now down by four.
