The Maryland Womens basketball team won it’s fourth Big Ten title Saturday, beating Illinois 71-62. It was Senior Day for the Terps lone Senior in Brianna Fraser. Galleries: Charles, Terps rally to beat Golden Gophers
It was a crazy finish, Maryland scored nine points in the last 50 seconds to overtake Minnesota. Kaila Charles hit the game winning layup after Shakira Austin deflected an inbounds pass. Charles scored 21 of her 29 points in the second half as Maryland completed their comeback. Destiny Pitts scored 24 points for Minnesota and Kenisha Bell had 23. Below…
