Gamecocks take down Terps in early season matchup

In an early season test for both teams, South Carolina beat Maryland 63-54 Sunday in College Park. The Gamecocks were led by their freshman center Aliyah Boston and their senior floor general, Tyasha Harris. Boston dominated the paint on both ends with 14 points, seven rebounds, and five blocks. The Maryland Terrapins opened their 2019-2020 season with an exhibition win against Cal U, up next they face Lincoln University on Tuesday night. UCLA wins battle on the glass to top Maryland and Advance

The UCLA Bruins came in to College Park and did all of the little things that would eventually result in an 85-80 win over the Maryland Terrapins in the second round of this year’s NCAA Tournament.
