Snider joins Baltimore’s outfield

Earlier this week the Baltimore Orioles acquired outfielder Travis Snider, a move to provide depth to a once fully stocked outfield in Baltimore.

Snider hit .264 with 13 home runs and 38 RBIs last season for the Pirates, the 38 RBIs were a career best for him. The 26 year old is hitting .246 for his career, he’s also hit 50 home-runs.

Baltimore needs that depth considering what they’ve lost this off-season, specifically Nick Markakis and Nelson Cruz. As of this moment, the Orioles options in the outfield are Alejandro De Aza, Alex Hazan, David Lough, and Adam Jones.
