Sacramento King Season Preview

I’m going to make this one short and sweet. The Kings are the worst ran organization in basketb…. In sports!

Nothing about this organization makes since. You have arguably the best center in the NBA in DeMarcus Cousins and in his six years in the league, the best player he has played with was Rudy Guy?! The organization¬†gave him a “unwanted” Rajon Rondo (NO ONE was surprised it did not work out), a backup turned starting point guard in Darren Collison, and a bunch of fringe league players.

Going into this offseason (and almost every offseason), the Kings needed a solid point guard. Getting Arron Afflalo was a solid pick-up and will help, seeing as Ben McLemore has not bloomed into the player they thought he would. So with there being some potentialy solid guards in this year’s draft, what do the Kings do? Draft not one but TWO big men (which means there is a total of five bigs now). Yes they did also draft Malachi Richardson, but I mean… why draft him, then resign McLemore, and add Afflalo and Ty Lawson? Just makes no sense.

What makes everything worse it that seemingly every month, someone else is put on the trade block of that team (including Cousins). So you have a wishy washy front office that does not even know what they want.

Yes, Cousins has been a headache from time to time with his emotions, but he has been the ONLY constant for Sacramento.

Sacramento will struggle yet again this year.

The Kings are… the Kings and that is the worst thing you can be called in the NBA!
