Arizona Cardinals hire Byron Leftwich as next quarterbacks coach
Former NFL quarterback Byron Leftwich will be the Cardinals new quarterbacks coach, he turned 37 on January 17th. He was drafted by the Jaguars and later played three seasons in Jacksonville before later spending time with the Steelers, Falcons, and Buccaneers. He last played in 2012 and has most recently worked with the Cardinals as a coaching intern.
Leftwich, who has over 10,000 passing yards, 58 TDs with a 78.9 passer rating in 10 seasons, will now guide gunslinger Carson Palmer this upcoming season, who was drafted No. 1 overall in the 2003 NFL Draft just six spots in front of his new quarterbacks coach.
